The first season of the animated comedy series Family Guy aired on Fox from January 31 to May 16, , and consisted of seven episodes. The executive producers for the first season were David Zuckerman and MacFarlane. The series has since been released in syndication. While working on the series, Larry and his dog Steve slowly evolved into Peter and Brian; the rest of the series characters were added later, [7] and thus would be the only season to be animated using traditional cel animation. Executives at Fox saw the Larry shorts and contracted MacFarlane to create a series based on the characters entitled Family Guy. David Zuckerman and MacFarlane were the executive producers for the season; [10] the latter also acted as show runner. There were six directors for the seven episodes, with Michael DiMartino directing two. Peter Shin acted as the supervising director for the entire season.
From the constant jokes, the hilarious cutaways, and the endless adventures with the Griffin family, it's a show many have loved growing up. With creator Seth Mcfarlane showing no signs of stopping anytime soon, we can only anticipate what's next for the hit sitcom. We thought it would be fun to imagine a live-action adaptation of the show and we cast actors we thought were perfect for the role. Peter may not be the smartest in his group of friends or family, but it's his naive nature and gullible attitude that make him a fan-favorite. Kevin Jame has the size, he has the acting chops, and he has the experience to star in a movie hit.
